Sarah Warren is an independent occupational therapist that specialises in working with adults (including older teenagers) with the following conditions: Autistic spectrum disorder ; Learning disability (mild to severe); Sensory processing disorder ; Developmental co-ordination disorder (DCD/ Dyspraxia); Down syndrome ; Anxiety / low self- esteem or confidence;· Depression;· Personality disorder;· Dementia; Challenging behaviours and other mental health conditions. .
Sarah mainly works with people on a 1:1 basis within their own home environment and local community, also offering assessments to ascertain a person's strengths and needs which can inform the basis for collaborative working to achieve person centred goals and optimum independence. She can carry out sensory profiling assessments and support the person to address their sensory needs. .
Sarah is a member of the following professional bodies: HCPC, RCOT, RCOT-IP, RCOT- PLD and the SI Network. .
