Scottish Autism - New Ridgepark

Main information

Type of service: Residential services

Young people who need a transition service as they move from school, college or home receive specialist support at our residential centre outside Lanark. Set in a Victorian house with gardens that provide peace and tranquillity needed by a person with autism, New Ridgepark works to encourage growth and development from the end of childhood to the beginning of adulthood. Our objective is to complete the person's evaluation within a period of 18 months to three years, depending on their needs and abilities. It is based on a minimum of one to one staff ratio. Currently, we provide nine placements for people from all over Scotland. They may come from school, college or home or be going through a significant life event. They usually require a period of intense support or crisis intervention.
