Main information
Type of service: Residential services
Service URL: http://www.scottishautism.org
The Waulkmill Project in Moray supports young people aged 12-18 years with autism and complex needs in partnership with their families. It is a model combining both education and residential elements tailored to specifically meet the needs of each individual. Support plans are designed around the individual, focusing on their unique strengths and abilities. Where residential support applies, our service users live in community based housing with Scottish Autism staff designing support plans which focus on the unique strengths and abilities of the individual. The education element is delivered in the new Elgin Academy offering opportunities for each of our service users to become successful learners and valued citizens within the community.
