Selly Oak Trust School

Main information

Type of service: Day schools, Schools

We are a large special school catering for statemented pupils between the ages of 11-19 years. We have a relatively large number of pupils on the autism spectrum. Pupils are taught in classes for the core curriculum lessons and in mixed ability classes for the foundation subjects. Much of the work done at Selly Oak is based around giving the students "life skills" which is a key part of our curriculum. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils. The school provides short breaks just for their own pupils.
