Selwyn Care operates from Matson House, Gloucester and provides residential care for adults with autistic spectrum disorder. There are three registered home on site, Matson House (13 residents), Edward House (11 residents) and Jasper Lodge (8 residents). All accommodation is spacious and there is a large Day Centre on site which offers many and varied activities including sensory rooms, jacuzzis, art, aromatherapy, swimming, walking and horse riding. Many other activities are arranged off-site including further education at Stroud College and Gloscat. Generally, Selwyn care receives referrals from Social Services, but increasingly parents visit first and then ask their Social Services contact to proceed with assessment/funding. Self-referrals are also accepted.
