SEN Mediation Service
Main information
Type of service: Advocacy (general)
It aims to settle disagreements that arise between parents and local authorities or schools about the special educational needs (SEN) of children and how best to meet these needs. We provide mediation meetings when parents of children with SEN have a disagreement with the school or local authority. Mediators are independent, impartial third parties who facilitate the meetings and help people find a way forward. All special needs are covered.
