The Shine group are a group of parents/carers who have children with physical or hidden disabilities who require additional support, such as autism or ADHD. The aim of the group is to: support; be here to listen; provide information; request advice and guidance from professionals; and share experiences. We share our experiences with other parents in similar circumstances; it helps us to feel that we are not alone. We talk to teachers, health visitors, GP's and others that we think can help. We meet every Thursday at the Denny Community Flat. We also have a weekly youth club for children/young people of school age.
