Spectrum is run by Parent and Carer Council (PACC) as an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) specific Oasis group, although a formal diagnosis is not essential to attend. These meetings bring parent carers together to share their experiences. Each meeting is supported by a trained PACC befriender and offer an opportunity for parent carers to provide advice, support and information to each other. The focus of the meetings is to provide a safe environment where parent carers feel that their experiences and concerns are understood, there is no need to book to attend.
