SNAP (Special Needs and Parents) supports Essex families who have children and young people with any special need or disability. SNAP provides many services including a helpline providing advice, information and support (8.30am-5pm); face-to-face appointments; a library of specialist books, information sheets, DVDs and other resources; an online directory of useful contacts (over 2000 entries); an online Information Network; specialist talks and training courses; counselling; parent and pre-school children groups; children & young people's activities (including after-school and holiday sessions); Drama; Yoga; multi-sensory room; specialist IT suite; sibling support and social events for families..
