Somerset Disabled Cricket Club

The Club was formed in 1997 in partnership with the Somerset County Cricket Club. It now has over 25 active players, with an experienced County Championships squad featuring a number of English Internationals. The Club welcomes members of all ages and abilities and are proud of their reputation for including players of all types of physical and learning impairments. The Club is run by disabled people for disabled people. Free open coaching sessions are held at either the Centre of Excellence at the County Ground in Taunton, or at Taunton School. The qualified coaches are experienced in working with disabled players. Volunteers are accepted by the Club. Self-referrals or referrals from professional bodies are accepted.
