The award winning Sookie & Finn films are fun DVDs and supplementary flashcards devised in consultation with a speech therapist aimed at developing the speech and language skills of children with speech difficulties. .

The films target specific early words that reflect children's experiences; this vocabulary is heard throughout the story and then reinforced again at the end of each episode. The vocabulary is further reinforced by the inclusion of songs as part of each story, adding a fun way of engaging with what you are watching. Timely pauses allow breaks for a child and parent/therapist to chime in and interact with the DVD and it provides strategies for promoting the development of early language.


Sookie & Finn films are especially useful for children with autism as they help children understand routines, reinforce right behaviours and encourage communication .
