Type of service: Helplines, Family support and information services

We offer a free, independent and confidential telephone helpline for parents and others looking for information and advice on Special Educational Needs (SEN) in England and Wales. We are based in Hampton Hill, Middlesex and offer our services throughout England and Wales. We run monthly daytime walk-in advice centres in Hampton Hill, Thornton Heath and Aldershot, and evening surgeries near Waterloo station, so that parents from surrounding local authorities such as London, Surrey, Hampshire, Kent and Middlesex can come to see us, if they have a particularly complex problem. We also run regular, small group, hands-on training sessions in Hampton Hill on topics such as how to appeal an SEN statement and how to prepare for a Tribunal hearing.
