South Glos Parents and Carers is the parent participation group for South Gloucestershire. They are an independet parent led group. All of the parents involved have children with a disability or additional needs, ranging from physical, social communication, sensory, learning or behavioural difficulties and anxiety to complex health needs. Through this experience they are able to give an invaluable perspective in identifying possible improvements to the services that are available - and as such, service providers want to listen. During the year they hold an information day or evening which brings parents and carers of children with disabilities or additional needs together to discuss various topics and to capture parent's views. They also hold an informal coffee mornings from 10am - 12pm on the last Wednesday of every month during term time.
