Type of service: Diagnostic services, Child Development Centres (CDC)
For children and young people up to the age of 18 years in Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland. In Redcar, Cleveland and Middlesbrough we offer the services contained on the page. A child would be referred through to either community paediatrics of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) services depending on their age and the nature of their problem. We have services for both pre-school and school aged children referred for autism assessment.
Assessment procedure: History, physical examination, reports, medical tests.
Follow up service: Clinics.
Multi-disciplinary assessment: Paediatrics, speech and language therapy, educational psychology, occupational therapy, teachers.
