The name of the base for children with special needs is the The Achievement Studios - Speech, Language and Communication Needs Resource Base. We are a resource base providing specialist provision within the mainstream school. We cater for children who can access a mainstream curriculum but need additional support and small group work. Students attend the base for part of the school day and receive specialist support in the main classrooms. We are staffed with specialist teachers and support assistants who also work with mainstream teachers. Most of the facilities offered by the school are available through the mainstream school.
