Space Inclusive is a Nottingham based Social Enterprise that exists to provide opportunities for people with learning disabilities. We provide person centred programmes for young adults aged 19+ who have personal budgets. Their service offers opportunities such as: skills for employment; work skills, adult literacy and numeracy and supported work placements leading to opportunities for paid employment. Practical living skills; using public transport, household and money management and health and hygeine. Access to social opportunties; creative and outdoor activities to promote confidence, team working, self esteem and social interation in age appropriate environments. Volunteers may be accepted to work with service users. All volunteers are CRB checked and are offered the same access to training and support as paid members of staff. The service accepts self referrals and referrals from social services.
