The Specialist Teaching and Applied Psychology Service employs a small number of educational psychologists and is part of the wider Additional Needs Service of Children's Services. Educational psychologists work with others to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people. The telephone Helplines comprise:

Specialist Dyslexia Outreach Teacher - Monday 9.30am to 11.30am (term time only), North: Lesley Shapcott 01427 787178 option 3 and South: Katie Akerman 01205 317871.

Social Communication (including autism spectrum) Outreach Teacher - Part of the Pathfinder Outreach: Anne Tait (covering secondary settings in Lincoln, North of Lincoln and North Hykeham), Tuesday 1.30pm to 3.30pm (term time only) 01427 787178 option 2.

Educational Psychologists, every Tuesday, 1.30pm to 4.00pm 01522 554673 and ask for the Helpline.
