SpecialistsUK Ltd run employment placements for individuals with autism. SpecialistsUK Ltd is in the international job creation and employment concept, SpecialistsUK (“The Specialists”). We assess, train and employ individuals with autism as consultants in Information Technology (IT) and other sectors with technically oriented tasks and jobs, such as data management, software testing and quality control. Our ambition is to replicate Specialisterne UK as a sustainable business in locations throughout the United Kingdom (UK), and develop a mentorship and management model to enable employers to expand their recruitment to include people with autism and similar challenges. SpecialistsUK is part of the global “Specialist People network” and contributes to the further development of the SpecialistsUK concept and vision of enabling one million jobs for people with autism and related challenges. Our partners are working with us to bring about a world where people with autism are given equal opportunities in the labor market. For example, The National Autistic Society (NAS) is a key partner for us here in the UK with its focus on services for people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families. Spreading awareness of SpecialistsUK and our goal to enable one million jobs for people with autism and similar challenges is our top priority.
