We are a school for average to above average ability students with Asperger syndrome or high functioning autism (HFA). We cover the national curriculum plus extra language skills, life skills and social skills sessions. Our students are placed by the local authority (LA) and parents do not pay fees. We use Treatment and Education of Autistic and related Communication handicapped Children (TEACCH) and Social Communication, Emotional Regulation and Transactional Support (SCERTS) programmes and all our staff are highly trained and experienced in working with students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
