Pupils with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) are taught with their peers in mainstream classes. They are supported by a well trained support staff and teachers who are knowledgeable and sensitive towards ASD issues. We have a withdrawal special needs resource, where children may receive support specific to their needs eg social skills groups, speech and language skills, occupational therapy and social skills.
