The school has 100 places for primary age pupils with severe learning difficulties and autism. We are accredited by The National Autistic Society (NAS) (since 2003). The pupils are in mixed groups and we have close links with a co-located mainstream school. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils. The school uses the Structure, Positive (approaches and expectations), Empathy, Low arousal, Links (SPELL) framework.
