Stone Hill School is a local authority school for pupils with moderate learning. Within the school there are over 60% of children with an autism spectrum condition (ASC). Autism outreach is offered approximately 2 days per week. This takes the form of The National Autistic Society (NAS) EarlyBird Programme, Barnardo's Cygnet Programme, support in mainstream schools and training packages. Parent support groups are also offered. The autism specific is this service is social communication difficulties and autism.
