Stroud Lodge is a large, extended Victorian detached home just two miles from Gloucester city centre. The home accommodates nine individuals with varying degrees of learning difficulties, challenging behaviour and associated complex needs (including two placements for people with mental disorders). Stroud Lodge is ideally situated to take advantage of the many amenities and facilities Gloucester has to offer, including Gloucester Leisure Centre, the Docks development and more. Individuals are encouraged to participate in a variety of activities. These include college courses, horse riding and cinema or theatre trips. The ladies also enjoy visits to the local beauty salons for various treatments. Stroud Lodge also has its own transport for a variety of recreational and educational trips and activities in the community.
