Sunfield PDC offers training courses on site via a termly programme which appears on our website or is mailed nationwide (to be added to the mailing list, please email your postal address to pdc@sunfield.org.uk). Training is offered on a wide range of subjects including autism. Sunfield has 5 trainers that have trained alongside directors from the TEACCH Centre University of North Carolina, USA and regularly support them when 5 day courses are delivered on site. We also offer autism awareness days and a 2 day course on structured teaching. Sunfield has also been involved in a research project with the Sherborne Developmental Movement Association and as a result has produced a Sherborne@Sunfield course which is an adapted teaching approach for children with ASD and is supported by a training DVD and notes for teachers. Group training can be delivered off site or here at Sunfield. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any training requirements because if we can't help we usually know someone who can.
