Swanley House
Main information
Type of service: Residential services
Swanley House aims to offer a Home that values children/young people regardless of their disability, ethnicity, or sexual orientation and, as such, qualities including tolerance and acceptance are essential to their recruitment process. They believe that children/young people grow and flourish as a direct result of good parenting, by being included in the daily decisions of their family group. The service aims to offer both quality individual time, (the development of meaningful relationships with keyworkers), and as importantly, instil tolerance and acceptance of others by living as part of a group. Placements are offered in an effort to assist the children/young people for the transition into adulthood and although they accept that placements can break down, they will only offer a place based on the real belief that it can be made successful.
