Tameside and Glossop Autism Specialist Nurse

The Autism Specialist Nurse has been employed to ensure that the needs of adults with autism, and other Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) such as Asperger syndrome, are considered and addressed by the PCT and the local authority. The nurse will work with individuals and carers to support their access to assessment and services and to make sure that staff know about the needs of people with autism.
