Since 1994, Avalon has assisted people with a diverse range of care and support needs. Our customers include people with autism, physical or learning disabilities, behaviour that challenges, sensory loss, Asperger's syndrome, mental health issues and older adults. We currently support over 800 customers across the North of England. We offer: .
- Supported Living - care services are delivered by support workers in customers' own homes and the community. This is offered in Harrogate, Kirklees, Northallerton, Scarborough, Skipton, Teesside, Wakefield, and York
- Shared Lives - a network of approved carers invite customers to live in their homes on a permanent or temporary basis. This is delivered in Cumbria, Darlington, Doncaster, Harrogate, Northallerton, Scarborough, Teesside and York.
- Shared Lives Daybreak service- offering day activities as part of the Shared Lives service - in Doncaster, Harrogate, Northallerton, Scarborough and York.
- Supported Housing - Avalon works with private landlords and housing associations to provide housing with or without support. This is delivered in Harrogate, Kirklees, Northallerton, Scarborough, Skipton, Teesside, Wakefield, and York.
We also deliver Floating Support in Stockton- on-Tees, Kirklees and Wakefield, Play and leisure services in Skipton and Scarborough and a Sitting Service in Teesside. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the people we support.
