The Chiltern School opened in September 2012. We are an area special school for pupils and students with learning disabilities and difficulties. We cater for learning needs including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) with additional needs; Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD); Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD); Autism and Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC). The school combines Glenwood School and Hillcrest School and extends the range of provision and services it provides to meet pupils needs. The School has Early Years provision from rising 3 year olds and Primary provision: Year 1 to Year 6 on one site and Secondary provision: Year 7 to 19 years on a separate site.
