Main information
Type of service: Residential services
The Coach House is a new residential provision offering medium to long term placements for 4 children and young people aged 8-17 years 364 days with learning and/or physical disabilities. Our aim is to promote and maximise the individuals full potential. We understand, value and promote transition and independance in all children and young people regardless of their ability. All the children and young people will be expected and supported to undertake our Star Award programmes which are individually tailored to meet the needs of the children and young people and focus on life and social skills thereby assisting with the transistion into adulthood. We encourage and promote community particapation using local social and recreation resourses as far as is practicable. The service accepts volunteers subject to CRB checks and two satisfactory references. They accept referrals from potential placing Authorities.
