FAB was formed due to a lack of specialised recreational facilities or support for children on the autism spectrum and their families. We run a family support group every Saturday during term-time in Stenhousemuir that children attend with their parents. From 12.30 - 2pm we cater for children over 8 years old and their parents, and from 2.30pm to 4 pm we cater for children under 8 and their parents. Siblings are welcome to attend. We have a sensory room, learning tablets. a Wii and a large physical play area for the children to enjoy, while parents can relax and have a coffee and chat. We also take our regular members on regular trips to places such as the Glasgow Science Centre, Cinema, wildlife parks etc.

We hold regular fundraising events to enable us to keep the group running and to be able to take the children on trips.
