Type of service: Diagnostic services

The Family Psychologist Service offers a full multi-disciplinary assessment and diagnosis for autism and post assessment support for parents. We also assess for learning difficulties (Dyslexia/Dyspraxia, Processing Speed/Working Memory), motor development, speech and language difficulties and sensory processing disorder. Alongside our child and adult assessment services, we also offer parents help and support with Home and School Life.

Assessment procedure: Clinical Interview (Initial Assessment). Full Cognitive Assessment (R ). School Observations. Feedback Session with Keyworker. ADOS - Autistic Diagnostic Observation Schedule (R) - if required. Pediatrician Assessment (R) - if required. .

Follow up service: Final Report & Feedback Session with your KeyWorker .
