The Happy Club

Main information

Type of service: Play and leisure, Local groups, Social groups

Healthy Active Promotion of Positive Youngsters (The Happy Club) was established in April 2007 to reduce the isolation of families in Glasgow who have one or more children affected by disability or autism and enable the families to have a happy, healthier, more fulfilling lifestyle. The Happy Club is a non-profit making organisation run by volunteers. Our evening sessions offer a range of activities for our members in a non-judgemental and supportive atmosphere. We ensure the services and facilities are accessible to all. We aim primarily to provide activities for children registered at school 4.5-19 years. We also arrange coffee mornings and can offer advice on benefits etc. Siblings or other members of the family are most welcome.
