The Jack and Jill Support Group for families and carers of children with special needs is based in Bellshill, Lanarkshire and provides transport for the surrounding areas. We help families with children with additional support needs. We run weekly on a Thursday and employ play leaders to do activities with the children/young adults whilst the parents/carers get a few hours respite. We arrange visits from organisations such as the Carers Trust Scotland and the Family Fund to ensure families are aware of what they are entitled to. We go on outings through the summer and trips away along with regular fundraising activities.
