The Lindfield School

The Lindfield is a secondary school that follows the National Curriculum. It has approximately 50 per cent of the students with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and the rest of the students have a variety of special needs. The students are educated together in groups of 8-14. In addition, there is an ASD facility designated for pupils that have greater language, communication and behavioural difficulties. At present, there are seven students in the facility, 2 teachers and one assistant. The students follow a timetable that is a mixture of academic, social and therapeutic needs. Volunteers may be considered to work with the pupils.
