The name of the unit for children with special needs is the Learning Development Centre. Some children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) are in mainstream groups. Some children with ASD are in small groups within the Learning Development Centre. The decision on where the children are taught is made according to academic ability. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils.
