The people we support at our high support unit, The National Autistic Society Centre, Kent (Windmill), benefit from intensive support from a dedicated staff team, one on one. Programmes are individualised and co-ordinated as above: aimed at ameliorating the effects of the triad of Impairments. The aim is that, despite their high level of support needs, these adults have access to, and enjoy, a fulfilled life. Service users benefit from a range of activities including many out in the community.
