At the Old Rectory, Trowbridge we support people with autism who may also have a learning disability. Our team is passionate about improving the health, happiness and wellbeing of the individuals we support and we are focused on building positive outcomes for everyone. Our approach to care: We support eight people through our residential service, and we can also offer support to people on an outreach basis. We provide support tailored to meet the needs of each individual, which can include therapeutic or educational activities. Our passionate team works with those who have autism, and who may also have a learning disability. The staffing ratios at The Old Rectory, Trowbridge are dependent upon individual needs, and we offer 24 hour support. We promote Priory Adult Care's communication strategy, "Your Voice", which encourages service users to voice their views about the support they receive. This is possible through our newsletter, or at monthly meetings which are held at The Old Rectory, Trowbridge. Individuals are invited to represent the views and voices of others living at the service. Living at The Old Rectory: The Old Rectory, Trowbridge is a large and spacious house; there are two lounges and two areas to dine in. There is also a very large garden with fruit trees and areas to sit. In total we have six bedrooms on the first floor, two of which have en-suite bathrooms. There are also two ground floor rooms, both also with en-suites. People living at The Old Rectory are encouraged and supported to decorate and furnish their rooms to their own individual taste. There is a working allotment at the service where people participate in planting, growing and picking their own fruit and vegetables, and help to look after the chickens.
