Provides services in Northumberland to children with autism, their parents, family, carers and supporting professionals. These include a Child Development Team, a Family Advice, Liaison and Support Service, a Family Massage Clinic (addressing issues of challenging behaviour), a specialist counselling service, "autism-friendly" haircutting, dentistry and oral hygiene services, and holiday activities for children (3 to 10 years) and young people (11 to 18 years), early years groups, training courses for professionals and a monthly Family Training Workshop; Bond at The Barn, a social group for young adults with Asperger syndrome, who are aged between 13 and 19 years; Fun Club, an after school facility for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) aged 6 to 11 years; email support for ASD young adults. There is also a lending library of books, videos and sensory toys.
