The Wingate Centre is a specialist holiday centre for children and young people with emphasis on meeting the needs of those with disabilities. We welcome groups from 8 to 50 people in size and offer a range of bedrooms from twin, triple, group to a secure unit. The centre has an extensive range of facilities and equipment to enable you to care for even the most profoundly disabled child. We have a range of sensory equipment/areas. Set in 3 acres of Cheshire countryside, we offer a calm and peaceful environment, suitable for the special needs of children with autism. We can offer exclusive use of the centre, if this is in the best interests of your children. As part of our facilities we have a fully equipped 7,000 sq ft gymnasium with a sprung floor and sunken trampoline along with a specialist coaching team expert in the teaching of disabled children. Group leaders, teachers and parents are welcome to visit and tour the facilities. We aim to work with group leaders to tailor each holiday to meet the individual needs of the group. New in 2011 is the Rieber Hall offering indoor sports, games and play facilities.
