The Learning Support Facility is a provision for students with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and have a statement of educational need. Students access the mainstream school and are integrated in all aspects of the school community. Withdrawal groups or individuals follow personal programmes for Social Use of Life Programme, Speech, Language and Communication, Literacy and Numeracy. Support is given for organisation and self-esteem by a team of skilled teaching assistants. The facility offers a place of safety during break times.
