TITAN - Travel Independence Training Across the Nation

A scheme which has been designed to encourage young people to become safe independent travellers and to give them improved life skills. How it works.... The programme is based on the traffic light system, and consists of set assessed tasks which have to be completed to move on to the next level. The scheme is run in partnership with Norfolk Post 16 Transport Partnership; Norfolk County Council (NCC) Road Safety Unit; Norfolk Constabulary; and Norfolk Bus Companies. People will be referred to us by schools, Colleges, guidance advisers, specific care establishments or contact the service direct. People are expected to follow set activities to make them more confident and competent in their approach to being independent travellers. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the service users but they musy be trained by Travel Independence Training Across the Nation (TITAN) trainers.
