Trinity Fields is a day school for young people between the ages of 3-19 years who have severe and complex needs. The school serves the borough of Caerphilly in South Wales. The school has a wide range of resources including respite, after-school clubs, leisure schemes and training services. Caerphilly Autistic Spectrum Service (CASS) is a service jointly managed by the school and local authority. CASS is based at Trinity Fields providing outreach, advice and support to mainstream schools and families throughout the community. Some of the services that are included with CASS are EarlyBird + and Being the Causes. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils. The school uses the Structure, Positive (approaches and expectations), Empathy, Low arousal, Links (SPELL) framework. Another intervention, approach and programme provided by the school is signalong.
