Tuesday Youth Project

Tuesday Youth Project is for 11-17 year old boys who live in Vale of Glamorgan. It aims to: bring people with a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or with demonstrated ASD tendencies within a group setting; provide youth club activities in a safe, fun and interactive setting; run issue-based workshops on Peer Pressure, Communication, Listening Skills, Emotional Intelligence, Community Awareness, Basic Skills, Self Esteem and Participation; introduce young people from this group to main stream youth activities; hold quarterly open sessions with parents/carers to signpost parents/carers of young people presenting with ASD to complimentary agencies and training, some of these sessions with relevant guest speakers; run one (or more - funding permitting) residential/s.

Age: From age 11 to 17

Aimed at: Adolescent , Child , Parent/carer of a child
