VisitEngland

Main information

Type of service: Holidays

VisitEngland offers accommodation operators throughout England a voluntary National Accessible Scheme. The scheme is designed to offer people with a variety of access needs choice in the selection of accommodation. The different accessibility ratings will help you to choose accommodation that best suits your needs. Information about the properties that have been assessed can be found on www.visitengland.com/accessforall. Look for the official National Accessible Scheme logos in publications which include ‘Holidays in the British Isles’ guide, available from Disability Rights UK (www.radar-shop.org.uk and at www.openbritain.net). Individual properties would need to be contacted to check specific services and accommodation descriptions.
