Type of service: Residential services
Watcombe Hall is a new stepping-stone service designed to support women during their successful transition from hospital or residential care to a life of their choice in the community. The centre is split across two buildings - the historic Main Hall and the six-bedded Annex, both the subject of major refurbishment to create a therapeutic, structured environment where women can feel at home and supported whilst continuing along their care pathway towards community living. The service is exclusively for women with a diagnosis of mild learning disability, challenging behaviour or other mental health needs who are locally based or wish to return to facilities closer to home in the South West.
