West Herts College, in partnership with Dimensions, screen sensory friendly films for people with autism and sensory differences every month. At sensory friendly screenings, lights are left on low, the volume is turned down, there are no trailers at the beginning of the film and you can move around the cinema and make noise as you feel comfortable. People with learning disabilities and autism can attend the cinema with their friends, siblings and other family members in an inclusive environment. Carers and support workers can attend for free if supporting someone. There is free parking available with step free access from the car park to the theatre. Tickets cost £5.50. Bookings can be made in advance or on the day for up to 100 people including carers. Advanced booking is required for wheelchair users. Please call Karen on 01923 812233.
