Type of service: Respite and short breaks

Westway is a new 3 bedroom respite home for adults with autism. The home has been set up and started by a team of autism specialists and parents who saw the need to provide this kind of respite to families that need it. We provide short break opportunities from overnight stays to periods of up to 14 continuous nights per session. The house has been built to best meet the needs of persons with autism while providing a low arousal environment and a warm homely feel to the individual. Individuals are supported on a one to one basis to ensure that they have access to activities of their choice.
