White House

Main information

Type of service: Residential services

White House is a large, detached house located near the village of Datchet, just four miles east of Slough town centre. The home offers support to seven adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities and associated complex needs. There are two single bedrooms on the ground floor and five single bedrooms on the first floor. Further accommodation includes a large lounge and dining area leading into the kitchen and laundry area. The patio doors lead from the dining room into spacious and attractive side gardens, where there is also a summer house for quieter activities and computer sessions. The garden leads into a large orchard area with three converted separate day service facilities, where service users can participate in a wide range of sensory, horticulture, arts and craft, and gym activities. In addition there are 2 registered self contained annexes within the grounds of White House. These annexes are bespoke services designed for individuals that may have difficulty living with others, for whatever reason. The home has two vehicles to use for leisure, recreational and educational trips and activities in the community.
