This Consensus service provides accommodation for individuals with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) and for those living with physical disabilities. The bungalow offers five bedrooms that can be decorated to suit individual tastes and styles. All bedrooms and shower/bathroom facilities are equipped with ceiling tracked hoists. Windsor Avenue has a communal lounge with all modern facilities and accessible doorways are designed to support individuals' mobility and independence. The service has a garden, which is used for a range of outdoor activities and individuals can attend the local day centre during the week. Situated within access of Kettering, Corby and Market Harborough town centres, Windsor Avenue offers individuals a variety of shopping, leisure and sporting opportunities that are accessible via the service's specially adapted bus or the conveniently located public transport. People using the service are supported to actively participate in the community as much or as little as they wish.
