Main information

Type of service: Day schools, Schools

Woodfield School is a very positive, vibrant school where staff work together as a team with a shared vision for future developments. Our main aim is to provide real quality education and support for our pupils, all of whom have severe learning difficulties and some with associated impairments. We cater for up to 70 pupils aged 2-19 years, 16 of whom are designated to our Autism Provision. We had an excellent Ofsted, have been reaccredited with Investors In People (IIP) and hold the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Quality Award. All our pupils are fully integrated within their age groups. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils and would need Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check. The main admittance criterion is that the pupil has severe learning difficulties or appearing to function at this level as a result of autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
